Little Hands
By Barbara Cox
Little hands trying to help with the dishes
Although it may go against all of our wishes
Little hands displaying their works of art
On the walls with colors they make their mark
When on the floor there are pots and pans
You can bet they got there by little hands
And, when you decided to dress in white
Little hands with candy will hold on tight
While in a store shopping, they have their way
To reach out and grab a passing display
As fast as lighting, as quick as a wink
They can sail a glass right into the sink
Little hands can hold on with all their might
When they give you a hug when saying, Good Night
And all the treasures from all the worlds lands
Can't bring the joy, Found in Little Hands
